In the midst of something electronic is where you will find Ben Dobrinsky!

Ben’s interest in electronics and how things work began at a very young age when he rewired his crib’s music box to change the song from “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” to Van Halen’s “Eruption!”.

After high school, Ben joined the Peace Corp where he made a small contribution with an invention to turn solar power into electricity to power well pumps & water filtration systems thus solving world hunger. This feat earned a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, but being somewhat shy and wanting to stay out of the limelight, he politely declined indicating that serving his fellow man was reward enough. He donated his findings to The Gates Foundation on the condition of anonymity.

In addition to the Gates’, Ben is on Elon Musk’s speed dial for quick consultations regarding the electronics of Musk’s latest ideas and inventions. True to his modest nature, Ben prefers to keep this relationship confidential.

These days Ben enjoys a quiet life serving his community repairing electronics by day and nurturing his love of honey bees, growing exotic orchids and soap carving in his spare time.
