You may recognize this face as Alan Felder, Alpha drum instructor, but now Alan has joined the bearded brethren of the Alpha sales staff too! He brings a wealth of drumming expertise. With many years of experience in retail music sales, teaching and decades performing, you won’t find a better qualified person to help you expand your drum knowledge and equipment inventory.

Alan Felder holds a BA degree from NSU with emphasis on performance and media. A drummer for almost 25 years, Alan has been a member of both the ODU and NSU Jazz Ensembles. As a rock drummer, Alan has played with numerous area and regional bands and in 2001 was nominated drummer of the year by Portfolio magazine. Alan was a founding member of The Pawn Shop Lifters, voted best Americana band of 2008. These days you can see & hear him with Tailgate Down.
