Product Details

Roscoe continues to build the finest electric bass guitars entirely by hand and entirely in their own factory. Unlike many builders of fine handmade instruments, none of Roscoe's manufacturing is sent out. Even their fine high-gloss and hand rubbed oil finishes are applied by in-house. By keeping all facets of production in-house, every detail of your bass can be closely and constantly scrutinized. At Roscoe, raw lumber comes in and finished instruments go out!
This particular model is the SKB-3005. The SKB body style is hand carved and slightly larger than their LG model.
Specifications: • SKB-3005 Ser# 6065 • Exhibition Quilted Maple Top • Swamp Ash Body • Antique Yellow High-gloss Finish • 18 Volt Bartolini NTMB Electronics with 3-way EQ • Standard String Spacing • 3-pc Maple/Purpleheart/Maple Graphite Reinforced Neck with Maple and Cherry Accent Veneers • Pau Ferro Fingerboard with 12th Fret Inlay • Diamondwood Nut • Black Hardware • Includes Hardshell Case
A word about the Bartolini NTMB Electronics controls. The knob closet to the neck is the master volume, back and closet to the pickup is the the blend control. Directly down from the blend control is the mid-range cut/boost control, which is a push/pull allowing you to access to different mid-range frequencies. The stacked knob to the rear includes the treble (cut/boost) and the bass (cut/boost) on the bottom ring controls. There is also gain control accessible through a small hole in the control cavity on the back of the bass. This allows you to adjust the output sensitivity of the preamp.
